Online Reservations and Accommodation Conditions
Thank you for your interest and for choosing Diamond Hotel for your holiday!
These General Terms and Conditions for Internet Reservations oblige “Hotel Diamond” as the HOSTELIER to provide the reservation requested by the customer according to the data provided by the customer through the reservation form: name of the customer, period of accommodation, number of nights, number of adults and children, type of meals, number and type of rooms.
By making a reservation through the online reservation module of the official website of “Hotel Diamant”, you accept and agree to the cancellation rules and no-show policy applied by HOTELIER, as well as to all additional terms and conditions of HOTELIER that may apply to your visit or stay.
In order to guarantee your reservation, you need to follow the conditions described below.
Pay
- All payments related to reservations through the official website of the Diamant Hotel are made in euros (EUR);
- Prices include 9% VAT, tourist tax and insurance;
- The client is obliged to pay the required deposit according to the reservation and the chosen pricing policy, after which the reservation is considered confirmed;
- Payment can be made online by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro debit or credit card or by bank transfer to the bank account indicated.
- Each bank that issues cards of these types has its own policies and requirements regarding Internet payments;
- The “virtual POS terminal” service is provided by UniCredit Bulbank, which enables payments with bank cards via the Internet with a high level of security;
- All personal and financial data that you provide when paying in the virtual POS terminal system are sent directly to UniCredit Bulbank, which is responsible for their protection. The Diamond Hotel is not responsible for the financial data of its customers and cannot be held liable for such data;
- Credit card details are encrypted on receipt and are not stored online. They are only accessible by authorised persons of the bank;
- After making the payment, the customer receives a confirmation of the reservation, and upon check-in is required to present the received reservation number. The confirmation is sent to the email address provided by the customer;
- If you require an invoice for a legal entity, you will need to complete the field provided for this purpose when booking the room. If this is not done, the invoice will be issued to an individual;
Personal data
- The protection of each customer’s personal data is important to us and the Hotel has a responsibility to safeguard it;
- The data you provide is protected in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the regulations governing the protection of information;
- The personal data required by the Hotel when making a reservation are: first and last name, email, phone number;
- The email or phone number you provide will be used to receive official correspondence as a customer – invoices, information, notices, notifications, etc;
- We may use your email address to ask for a review after you check out. This is done in order to improve the quality of our services.
Accommodation
- Check-in begins after 2 p.m. The allocation of rooms is subject to the current occupancy of the hotel. Early check-in, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., is subject to availability and for a fee;
- Check-out time is until 11 a.m. Late check-out between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. is possible and subject to a fee. Check-out after 6 p.m. is charged at the rate of one full night’s stay depending on the room type;
- In the event of a customer request for early check-in or late check-out, Diamond Hotel does not guarantee the satisfaction of this request and it is subject to the availability of the room. Confirmation is made at the relevant reception on the day of check-in/departure;
- Complaints about the services provided by the hotel are considered only if they are requested and documented during the stay, before leaving the hotel by signing a protocol.
Cancellations
- In case of cancellation of a confirmed reservation, the client shall notify the Marketing and Sales Department in writing at the contacts indicated on the website. Once confirmation is received from the Hotel, the reservation is considered cancelled.
- In the case of refunds made by card, the amount will be credited solely to the card used to make the payment;
- If you leave the hotel before the originally submitted check-out date, the entire amount of the reservation is due;
- Cancellations made without complying with the cancellation policy of the relevant price list will not be refunded.
- In case of a tourist’s failure to appear at the hotel (no show), the amount paid in advance will be retained according to the terms of the reservation;
- All bank charges for reimbursement will be borne by the customer;
- The hotel is obliged to reserve the booked room until 18:00 on the respective day;
- If the guest does not give notice of late arrival after 18:00, the Hotel reserves the right to let the room for use by other guests;
- The hotel reserves the right to publish special offers with different rates and cancellation policies;
- For bookings already made, confirmed and paid for, the amount due will not change regardless of new quotations subsequently submitted.

In this case, the transfer of data to the mentioned social media operators occurs< 0 >only when the corresponding button on the icon illustrating the link is pressed. If you click on such a button, the page of the respective social network opens. There you can publish information about our services in accordance with the rules of the social media operator. You can also use our official contact profiles on the various social networks, as well as other official public profiles of the company.
Privacy Policy
The hotel as a personal data controller collects and processes certain information about individuals.
This information may relate to the hotel’s employees, managers, customers and guests, suppliers, contractors, business contacts and other individuals with whom the Administrator has a relationship or wishes to establish business contact.
This personal data protection policy governs how personal data is collected, processed and stored to meet the standards of the Administrator’s organization and to comply with< 0 >legal requirements.
This Privacy Policy is issued pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act and its implementing regulations, as amended, (“Bulgarian Legislation”), and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR” or GDPR).
What is meant by “personal data” and “processing of personal data”?
„Personal data“ is any information by which a natural person can be identified directly or indirectly by one or more attributes characteristic of the person – such as: name, identification number/ID number, contact details – location/postal address, telephone number, electronic address (email), online identifier/IP address, images from video recordings, etc. These attributes may be part of an individual’s physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.
„Processing of personal data“ is the set of acts performed on personal data or a set of personal data, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Our treatment of your personal data
The hotel attaches great importance to the protection of personal data and collects and processes personal data only in compliance with local and European legislation. The purpose of this “Privacy Policy” is to inform you how we process your data and what personal data we would collect about you, for what purpose, for how long and respectively what your rights are.
The security of the data you entrust to us is very important to us. Therefore, we protect your data by implementing all appropriate technical and organizational means that are adequate to the possible risks to the rights and freedoms of individuals, to prevent unauthorized access, unauthorized or malicious use, loss or premature deletion of information.
What information do we collect and why?
We may collect personal data about you when you use our Site or select our services. In most cases, we require your personal data for the purpose of entering into a contract, complying with a legal obligation or to protect our legitimate interest. We process the personal data we collect most often for the following purposes:
- When concluding and executing a contract – to register the guest at the Hotel, to prepare accounting documents such as a bill or invoice for the services provided to you; for the purpose of notifications related to our services;
- In fulfillment of a legal obligation – for the purpose of obligations provided for in the Tourism Act, the Accounting Act and the Tax and Social Security Procedural Code and other related regulations, in connection with the keeping of proper and lawful accounting records; in obligations to provide information to all state commissions and regulatory bodies, as well as a court of law; in fulfillment of obligations in connection with online bookings (distance selling) and off-site sales;
- With your consent – for direct marketing of our products and services.
What are your rights?
When collecting and processing your personal data, you have the right to:
- Information about the processing of your personal data and access to the personal data collected about you;
- Correction / completion if the data is inaccurate / incomplete – on your initiative or on the initiative of the Hotel;
- Erasure of personal data where there are lawful grounds to do so;
- Restriction of the processing of your personal data by the Hotel, if there are legal grounds for this;
- Portability of personal data between controllers – this right allows you to receive your data from the Hotel and transfer it to another controller in a usable format;
- Objection to the processing of your personal data, if there are legal grounds for this;
- The right to a judicial or administrative remedy if your rights have been violated;

- Your personal data is stored with us in accordance with the purpose for which it was collected and for the statutory periods.
When can we disclose your personal data?
We implement a range of measures to protect your personal data from loss, theft and misuse, as well as from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. We do not disclose your personal data to third parties until we are satisfied that all technical and organisational measures have been taken to protect that data, and we endeavour to implement strict controls to fulfil this purpose.
Some of the recipients of personal data may be: courier companies, external consultants and specialists, collection companies and law firms, banks, security companies, sales agents and representatives, etc.
It is possible, under circumstances provided by law, that your personal data may be disclosed. For example, with your explicit consent or with permission from the Personal Data Protection Commission, your personal data may be provided to third parties. The provision of personal data in some cases is mandatory in order to comply with our legal requirements, such as: Regulatory authorities, incl. state commissions, institutions and agencies, NRA, NSSI, courts, prosecutor’s offices, and others to whom we are obliged to provide personal data under the current legislation. It is possible, when necessary or appropriate, that your personal data may be provided for national security purposes or in the event of problems of public importance.
Security
The hotel takes measures to protect your personal information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. Policies and procedures are in place designed to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorized disclosure. In addition, we take additional information security measures, including access control, strict physical protection and reliable information collection, storage and processing practices.
On the other hand, we implement technical measures such as encryption, pseudonymisation and anonymisation of the collected personal data.
When do we delete your personal data?
We store all the information we have collected about you and destroy it within the statutory terms, or if there are no such, within the terms determined by us after the final settlement of all our financial relations. We do not keep your data indefinitely.
Transfer between countries
The transfer, storage and processing of personal data is secured by modern technical means. The hotel will not transfer your data outside the EEA without complying with legal possibilities, and will put in place appropriate safeguards to keep your information confidential.
Destruction
After the end of the retention period, the data shall be destroyed as soon as possible by destroying the paper media by shredding and the technical media by deleting and erasing the relevant files from the Company’s computers and systems.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
This procedure for protecting personal information may be modified over time. Such changes will be effective immediately upon their disclosure.
